How A Round Resolves And The Draw Rules

The bet window opens for about ten seconds at the start of each round. Place your stake on Player, Banker, or Tie — or split a stake across multiple zones. Minimum stake is ₹10 per zone, maximum is ₹5,000 per zone per round.

Once the window closes, two cards are dealt to the Player hand and two cards to the Banker hand. The totals are compared. If either hand is dealt a natural 8 or 9 on the initial two cards, the round resolves immediately on that comparison. The third-card rules are fixed and the player cannot influence them. The Player hand draws a third card if its initial total is 0-5 and stands on 6-7. The hands compare after the draws complete. Banker wins if its final total is closer to 9; Player wins if its final total is closer to 9; Tie wins if they are equal. Banker bets pay 0.95:1 (the small 5 per cent commission is the structural source of the house edge). Player bets pay 1:1 cleanly. Tie bets pay 8:1.

Which Bet To Take And Why

The math is unambiguous and well-known. Banker wins approximately 45.9 per cent of rounds. Player wins approximately 44.6 per cent of rounds. Tie wins approximately 9.5 per cent of rounds. Despite Banker winning slightly more often, both Player and Banker pay roughly even-money (Banker at 0.95:1 after commission). The result is that Banker has a slightly lower house edge — around 1.06 per cent — compared to Player at 1.24 per cent. Tie bets carry a house edge of around 14 per cent, dramatically higher than the main bets, but with a 8:1 payout that produces dramatic single-round wins.

The standard recommendation is straightforward: always bet Banker, never bet Tie. The 0.2 per cent edge advantage of Banker over Player adds up over many rounds, and avoiding Tie bets entirely removes the high-edge swing zone from your play.

However, the simplicity of "always Banker" play can become monotonous, and many regulars rotate between Banker and Player based on small recent-history patterns. The math says these rotations have no statistical edge — each round is independent — but the variance of mixed-bet play is similar enough to pure Banker play that the small edge sacrifice is the price of variety.
